Great news for UK brands looking to grow sales in Amazon’s newest store – Remote Fulfilment is live for Amazon.ie
Yes, it’s official – Amazon has launched Remote Fulfilment from the UK to Ireland, meaning that UK-based FBA sellers can now reach Irish customers via Amazon.ie without any additional logistics or VAT headaches.
So if Ireland hasn’t been part of your EU growth plan yet, now’s a good time to take a fresh look.
What’s new?
With Remote Fulfilment with FBA, your existing UK FBA inventory can be used to fulfil Irish customer orders, with Amazon handling the legwork.
And that means:
- You don’t need to register for Irish VAT
- You don’t need any additional storage
- Amazon will manage your customs clearance and VAT collection
- Your listings will be Prime-eligible on Amazon.ie
- You’ll pay lower fulfilment fees than UK domestic orders
Simplified expansion and operational savings to boot? That’s a win-win.
Who’s eligible?
To use Remote Fulfilment to Ireland, you need to:
- Be a professional seller
- Be actively selling via FBA in both the UK and Ireland
- Ensure products are under €150 in value
- Comply with all product safety and regulatory requirement
How to get started
Already using FBA in the UK? Here’s how to expand:
- Go to Remote Fulfilment with FBA in your Seller Central account.
- Under Marketplace Enrolment, select the UK as your inventory country and Ireland as the destination.
- Expand your listings via Automatic Listing Expansion (recommended) or add products manually in Amazon.ie Seller Central.
Once set up, your listings will automatically become visible to Irish shoppers on Amazon.ie, and your orders will be fulfilled from your UK stock.
