Here’s what the new Q4 fulfilment fees mean for your margins – and the steps you can take now to get ready…
It’s official – Amazon is introducing a Holiday Peak Fulfilment Fee for Q4 2025.
And while the charges are modest, it’s still a cost that could quietly eat into your margins if you’re not prepared.
The Lowdown
From 15 October 2025 to 14 January 2026, a new per-item fulfilment fee will apply on items delivered to UK buyers as follows:
- Small & standard parcels: Average fees of £0.10 per item.
- Large or extra-large envelopes: Average fees of £0.05 per item.
- No fees on oversize items and Low-Price FBA items.
- Applies across local FBA and Remote Fulfilment (EU to UK).
- Will also apply to select FBA orders delivered to buyers in Germany.
And why are Amazon introducing extra fulfillment fees?
Amazon cites “industry-wide increased operational costs” and says these fees are to help them maintain service levels during the peak retail season.
“Our selling partners are incredibly important to us, and this is not a decision we made lightly. The entire industry experiences increased operational costs over the festive season, and this change enables us to maintain delivery speed, expand fulfilment capacity, and support customer demand during this busy period.”

What should you do now?
It’s not a huge fee – but it is one that will add up across thousands of units.
To protect your margins through Q4, you should factor this in now by:
- Reforecasting your profitability across key ASINs.
- Reviewing your pricing strategies to protect your margins.
- Using the Revenue Calculator and FBA Fee Preview report to model the impact by SKU (available from 1 October 2025)
The Bottom Line
This new Holiday Peak Fulfillment Fee might be small per unit – but for high-volume brands, especially those working within tight margins, it’s one more variable that matters.
And after all, a great Q4 strategy isn’t just about sales – it’s about protecting your profitability through every stage of the process.
